I received a call/text message/e-mail demanding a payment to renew my Medi-Cal. Do I need to pay this?
Answer: No, California Health & Wellness will never require payment in the application or renewal process.
Is there anything I need to do?
Answer: No further action is required. However, if you have paid money or have any identifying information on the scammer (i.e., phone number, e-mail, website), please share that information with us so we can provide it to the Department of Health Care Services.
