Prior Authorization Policy Change

As of April 1, 2017, California Health & Wellness will no longer process prior authorization requests over the phone. Moving forward, providers will need to submit prior authorization requests via fax or online through our secure provider portal. The requesting provider should contact our Utilization Management department via fax or through our website with appropriate supporting clinical information to request an authorization.
